What Is Bearberry Extract (Uva Ursi)?

Bearberry extract comes from the bearberry plant, also known as uva ursi (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi), is a low-growing plant native to Asia, Europe, and Central and North America. Bearberry gets its name from one of its biggest fans; bears love to eat the small red berries that grow on the shrub. "Uva ursi” means “grape of the bear” in Latin.

Bearberry fruit (the berries) is poisonous to humans, but the leaves are loaded with health benefits. This bearberry extract is derived from uva ursi leaves.

Bearberry Extract 10:1 and 20:1, it is good soluble in water.

Suggested Use:
