Alkaline Protease

Alkaline protease was extracted by liquid culture of Bacillus licheniformis NO.2709. This product is an enzyme preparation catalyzing protein hydrolysis under alkaline condition (PH during 9-12). It is suitable for industries such as enzymatic detergent, leather depilation, silk degumming, and protein hydrolysis. It is an enzyme capable of hydrolyzing protein peptide bonds under alkaline conditions, preferably in the pH range of 9 to 11. Attention: Stable at pH6 ~ 10, rapidly inactivated below 6 or above 11. Its active center contains serine, so it is called serine protease.

It can not only hydrolyze peptide bond, but also hydrolyze amide bond, ester bond, ester and peptide conversion function.  Because of the specificity of enzyme, it can only hydrolyze protein, can’t act on starch, fat and other substances.

The main source of protease is microbial extraction, which is mainly studied and applied by Bacillus subtilis, with a small amount of other bacteria, such as Streptomyces. What causes protease deficiency?

Constipation, calcium deficiency, gingivitis, fungus, hypertension, hearing loss, tooth decay and mood swings are symptoms associated with protease deficiency. Lipase deficiency is also associated with dry type conditions. Dry extremities and dry type psoriasis are linked to lipase deficiency.
